ANDREW COHEN
With 20 years of experience in the hospitality design industry, Andrew is a James Beard award-winning designer who has worked with some of the most notable chefs and hotel groups in the world.
Currently based in Kingston, NY, he founded Field Study as a new venture in 2021. He has a true passion for helping others create successful businesses through great design. He brings his forward-thinking approach and vision to existing and emerging global brands, intent on creating a new regional design and hospitality narrative.
Prior to Field Study, Andrew cofounded Parts and Labor Design in 2011 and built one of the top award-winning hospitality design firms in the US. He began his career at the renowned global hospitality design firm AvroKO.
Throughout his career, Andrew has received awards and nominations from Travel and Leisure, The James Beard Foundation, Surface Magazine, Interior Design Magazine, Bon Appetit, AHEAD and Hospitality Design. His projects have also been featured in Architectural Digest, GC, The NY Times, Wallpaper, Vogue, Food and Wine, and Eater.
Andrew holds a master’s degree in architecture from University of Toronto and an undergraduate degree from Cornell University.
